Decoding the science of recharging... because the world needs your energy

DR. RAJANI KATTA
Medical School Professor ┃ Author of 9 Books ┃ Physician ┃
Career Development Expert
Over the course of my career I have worked with so many amazing and highly dedicated students and colleagues. But it can be a very challenging path.
When you're working hard and making an impact in the world, how do you sustain your energy? That's the question I'm fascinated with, and that's why, for my next book, 𝗜'𝗺 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴...𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆.
How are some people able to make an impact, year after year, in challenging conditions, while others experience burnout? Much of it comes down to energy management: more recharging and less depleting.
I'm on a mission to promote strong, energized careers, and I've learned so much from authors, leaders, doctors, creators, and other changemakers. I'm excited to share what I've learned on career development and thriving at work to help you make a greater impact in the world.
Here's how I'm working to make an impact:
Professor As a Professor at the Baylor College of Medicine, and as the author of The Successful Match and Success on the Wards, I've helped thousands of medical students achieve the careers that they've envisioned
Speaker I've had the great privilege of speaking nationally at many conferences and academic institutions such as Stanford and NYU, as well as internationally, including in France, Italy, Colombia, Canada, Argentina, and the Netherlands.
Author I'm the author of 9 books that together have sold over 100K copies. Several of these books, on career development for medical students and nutrition in dermatology, have become best-sellers in their category.
Media Expert I've been honored to provide evidence-based advice on nutrition and dermatology to many national media outlets, including The New York Times, Oprah Magazine, CNN, Today, Prevention, The Atlantic, and many others, as well as on each of the major news outlets.
Founder I'm on a mission to help patients with sensitive skin, and I've authored over 100 peer-reviewed scientific articles. My website KattaMD.com [aka my digital health resource] offers free educational resources, with over 2 million views.
